Even though most people have a big 4th of July bash ON the 4th of July, our family always likes to get together on the 3rd and watch the fireworks show our local Navy base puts on. My dad lives right on the water and has a PERFECT up close and personal view of the fireworks and tonight was no different. We ended up going out on the dock almost an hour before they were set to start but we weren't complaining. The weather was absolutely wonderful so we just stayed out on the dock with our blankets and lawn chairs and talked about things that made our cheeks hurt from laughing so hard. Before and after the fireworks we tried so hard to take those greatsparklerphotosthatneverturnout and it didn't work too well! Afterwards we went inside to make ice cream sundaes. BEST PART of the night! HANDS.DOWN!
