What to wear today...

I'm gonna let you guys in on something GREAT! Are you ready for it?! No, really...are you? Cause once I tell you about it, you'll be obsessed! I don't know if you've ever seen her before

(you probably have if you're obsessed with fashion on Pinterest like I am) but this is Audrey over at Putting Me Together! Isn't she adorable? I seriously want everything in her closet! She let me in on a little secret that I'm now obsessed with. If you're like me, you LOATHE picking out your clothes for the day. The ONLY reason I want to be a nurse is so I can wear comfy scrubs all day, every day, and wouldn't have to worry about my wardrobe as much. But unfortunately, that was not my calling. So here I am, back at square one trying to figure out what to wear! Well, Audrey introduced me to Go Chic or Go Home. You can upload pictures of your clothes and put outfits together, shop for clothes, ask for advice, and get outfit inspiration just by going and joining! Seriously, I think I'm going to be busy uploading a lot of my clothing this weekend and hopefully revamping my wardrobe! Go there, check it out. You'll thank me!

It's Fall Y'all!

I don't know about you, but I'm in LOVE with Printables. All kinds of printables...big ones, little ones, festive ones, encouraging ones...all.of.them! Check some of these out that I found on Pinterest (go figure)! I'm in LOVE and pretty sure I'll be printing them out this weekend and using some frames I already have! Don't you love them?! I love fall AND I love decorating my hizzy so I'm pretty sure these printables are just what I need (that's right, homegirl just said hizzy)!

Now what are you waiting for?! Go getcha some! I think I might need to try and make my own...maybe another day when I'm feeling more adventurous and creative!

Want a little Jesus with your coffee?!

As you may have read awhile back, I (along with some other ladies) have started a local Coffee & Jesus small group! I thought it would be nice to get together with ladies from different churches...ladies that I am good friends with, ladies I've never met, and ladies I used to be close with in middle school and have recently reconnected with! My friend Alison and I thought it'd go from about 9-10 and I was REALLY nervous that no one would talk and that it would be awkward but once I looked at the clock as the ladies were leaving and it was 11:30, I think that put my worries at ease...I couldn't believe it! To be honest, I didn't sleep at all the night before. I was so worried I would forget something at the store or would oversleep and was just so excited, sleep was the last thing on my mind. This first session was GREAT! I met some new ladies, we laughed more than I've laughed in a long time, talked about things we're struggling with, and things we want to get out of this new group! I really just can't tell you how excited I am! If you want more information, feel free to contact me!

Some supplies we bought to make little care packages for people that we come across this week that we fill need a little something extra to brighten their day! (We want to be a group that serves others, not just ourselves).

Some of the girls assembling the care packages. Sorry the lighting is SO bad and I didn't get a chance to edit it before posting!

So...are you involved in a Coffee & Jesus group? Or interested in joining one?! Let me know!!

Hopefully hanging out with nuts doesn't turn you into one!

This past weekend we went with some friends to the NPF (National Peanut Festival) in Dothan, AL (about an hour from here). For me, its become tradition. I remember growing up going to this "festival" more like a zoo/fair every year with another family from church and loving it every time. But let me just say, my stomach isn't as strong as it used to be. Seriously people...I was having a hard time on some of those rides. But...all is well (or was after I sat for a little bit) and we had a GREAT time. The weather was kinda disappointing...I love for it to be cold or somewhat fall'ish but nope, it was 80 degrees when we got there and got muggier as the night when on (excuse for why we look nasty in some of these pictures) but...here they are! Enjoy! Looking forward to next year and hopefully some cooler temps! If you're in the area, you definitely should check it out...and grab a turkey leg or funnel cake while you're there! Enjoy, I'm off to work! Happy Monday!!

How cool do these guys look, eh?!

We felt like schoolgirls as we're probably the oldest ones on this ride!

Hail, Hail the gang's all here! The guys were so patient with us as we kept walking up and down to find the right rides to use our tickets on, wait in line for us as we rode, and held our purses. Are they great or what?!

You gotta get one of these...delish!

Jared and the turkey leg. This was the highlight of his night!

This ride was one of the ones that didn't make me want to #yackallovertheplaceandneedtositdownafter!

Hope everyone has a great week! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see how our first Coffee & Jesus meeting went!!
